He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Swain and Ruby Swain (Chamberlain); his children, Roy Swain and April Swain; and his siblings, Orvis "Sonny" "Wacky" Hamilton and Leland "Buzzy" Swain.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Swain (Robinson) of Newport, NH; his children, Bruce Swain of Newport, NH, Lydia "Skeeta" Pillsbury (Dwayne) of Newport, NH, Deena Cota (Rick) of Newport, NH, Scott Swain of Claremont, NH and Heather "Zeb" Wadsworth (Corey) of Claremont, NH; his grandchildren, Brittny, Sarra, Clayton, Ashley, Alex, Jessica, Jennifer, Devin, Mike, Brooke, Keith, Alisha, Melissa and Mark; and his great grandchildren, Declan, Brycen, Corbyn, Malachi, Lenore, Christen, Mike, Karissa, Austin, Kayden, William, Aaraline, Avery and Salem.
