He is survived by: his grandchildren, Kristie Kathan Howe (Buddy), Andrew Kathan (Stephanie), Corey Violette (Katie), Curtis Blodgett and Olivia Blodgett; his great grandchildren, Ava Mae Violette, Caleb Remington Howe, William Oliver Kathan, Sawyer Joshua Howe and Samuel Henry Kathan; his siblings, Ron Violette (Betty) of Amherst, Paul Violette of Fort Myers, FL and Susan Chernenko (Gary) of Charleston, WV.; his sister-in-law Elizabeth Maiola; and his close friend Elaine Glazier of Charlestown, NH..
