He was predeceased by: his father Fred Lucas; and his siblings, Fred, Bill, Georgie, Raymond, Mildred, Bonnie and Katie.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Lucas of Newport; his children, Teresa Ash (Phil) of Newport, Robert Lucas, Jr. (Barbie) of Newport and Kevin Lucas of Newport; his grandsons, Jason Ash (Melissa), Travis Ash (Tessa), Corey, Todd, Ethan and Spencer Lucas; and his great grandchildren, McKenzie, Hannah, Logan, Caitlin and Lexi. He is also survived by many friends and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Woodlawn Care Center, Resident Fund, or to Lake Sunapee VNA and Hospice.
