She was predeceased by: her parents, Veikko Rannisto and Gladys Rannisto (Mitchell); her siblings, Eric, Jean and Elissa; and her brothers-in-law, Charles, Leon and Wallace.
She is survived by: her sons, Gregg Cartier (Julia) of Newport, NH, Kirk Cartier (Gail) of North Newport, NH and Todd Cartier (Kelley Gage) of Grantham, NH.; her grandchildren, Patrick, Shawn (Corina), Heather (Todd), Aaron (Irena), Dylan (Shirley), Nikayla (Tyler) and Natalie; and her siblings, Susan Sedita of Baldwin, ME, Loralee Brown of West Rockport, ME and Alan Rannisto (Sandy) of Newbury, NH. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Newton-Bartlett Funeral Home (42 Main St, Newport, NH 03773). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pine Grove Cemetery.
In honor of her generous spirit, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
