He was predeceased by: his wife Meredith Allen Hammerlind; his parents, Nels Hammerlind and Elsie Hammerlind; and his sister Judith Carlson (John) of Rhode Island. He is survived by: his daughters, Stacey Hammerlind and Paula Johnson (Mike) of Newport; his sister Joy Bowman (Rich); and his nieces and nephews, Patty, Doug, Eric, Sarah, Rob and Sue.
