He was predeceased by: his parents, James Mullen and Bridget Mullen (Doyle); his wife Patricia Mullen of Valentine's Day; his siblings, James A Mullen and Barbara Mullins; and his grandson Ryan Michael Truell.
He is survived by: his children, Joanne Truell (Michael) of Newport, Nancy Smith (Barney) of Newport and John Mullen (Rose) of Las Vegas, NV; his grandchildren, Bethany Gibbs (Chad), Valerie Truell (Cassie), Jennifer Smith (Sarah), Elizabeth Bates (Tyler), Siobhan Katilie (Christopher) and Logan Mullen (Meagan); his great grandchildren, Nicholas, Harrison Gibbs, Jaxson Truell, Charlotte Katilie and Theodore Mullen; and his siblings-in-law, Lorraine C. Mullen of Quincy, MA and Jack Manning of Avon, MA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
