David E. Magoon Obituary
The memory of David E. Magoon of Newport, New Hampshire, who passed away on November 22, 2024 at the age of 91, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Magoon and DellaMae Magoon (Ward); his wife Mary; his children, Tina Marie and David E. Magoon, Jr.; his son-in-law Bill Melendy; his grandsons, Mannie Blanchette and Shawn Willis; and his brothers, Edgar, Dick, Merlin and Jerry Magoon.
He is survived by: his children, Debi (Eddi Currier), Cindy Parker, Arthur (Karen Magoon), Nancy Melendy, Rhonda (Tim Hynes), Randy (Wendy Magoon), Mark (Karen Magoon) and Wendy Magoon (Dale Ferland); and his pet Quinnie. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren, 18 great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Pine Grove Cemetery. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Faith River Church (233 N Main St, Newport, NH 03773).
