She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Fay Cowdrey and Rose Cowdrey; her husband Rodney; her children, Keith, Julie James (Mark) and Mark Walker (Cindy); and her siblings, Jack Cowdrey, Ranee Strong and Phyllis Carrow. She was also cherished by nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
