She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Ackerman and Cula Ackerman (Abel); and her husband Richard D. Smith. She is survived by: her children, Richard Smith, Jr. and Catherine Gagne. She is also survived by four grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
