He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence J. and Laurette M. Mitchell (Labrecque); and his sister Margaret "Margie" Dobben. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Mitchell and John A. Mitchell; his grandchildren, Kyle Mitchell, Ashley Mitchell, Ayden Mitchell and Beckett Mitchell; his great grandchild Sage Marie; and his siblings, Robert "Bob" Mitchell (Lorin), James Mitchell and Jean Tharpe (Steve). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
