He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Copeland and Virginia Copeland (Coffy); and his brother Edward W. Copeland. He is survived by: his sons, James W. Copeland (John) of Newmarket, Joseph P. Copeland (Rachel) of Kittery and Marga Coulp of Dover; his brothers, William E. Copeland (Patricia) of Dover, Jack E. Copeland of Portsmouth and Kevin E. Copeland of Los Angeles; his grandchildren, Hunter of Salisbury, Jordan of Salisbury and Dylan of Salisbury; and also, Markus, Keith and Jamie.
