He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Benoit Champagne and Madeleine Champagne (Paquet); his wife Sue A. Champagne (Shibbal); his sons, Jeffrey Champagne of Nottingham and Jesse Champagne of Somersworth; his brother Marco Champagne; his sisters-in-law, Rachel Turcotte of Newport and Karleen Shibbal (Dan Brown) of Somersworth; and his cousin Quebec.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the Newfields Community Church.
