It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Smith of Newfields, New Hampshire, born in Hoboken, New Jersey, who passed away on January 17, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Eastman and Helen V. Eastman (Berkery); her husband Carl F. Smith Jr.; her daughter Lanie Smith Burke; and her siblings, Phillip, James, Edward, Robert and Marie.
She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Dixon (Carl Dixon Sr.) of Newfields, Kevin Eckert-Smith (Sally) of Ventura, Brian Thomas Smith (Danele) of Newmarket, Carl Francis III of Epsom, Maureen Smith of Newfields and Christopher Smith of Leominister, MA; and her grandchildren, Carl Jr., Ann, Elijah, John, Jeffrey, Laura, Annie, Kaitlin, Ryan, Eric and Corey. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
