He was predeceased by: his brother Richard. He is survived by: his sons, Mark Winter (Meredeth) of South Freeport and Eric Winter of Saco, Maine; his grandchildren, Maisie, William, Eleanor and Asa; and also Loa "Connie" Cornelia.
