He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley H. Richards and Elizabeth Holbrook Mason Richards; and his wife Judith G. Hamilton. He is survived by: his children, Charles, Sarah, Stuart and Peter; and his sister Caroline (David). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
