He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Irene Freitas (LePage) and Victor Freitas; his nieces and nephews, Theresa Battiato, Vincent and Rob; his stepchildren, Molly Zurheide (Julian Keenan) and Andrew Zurheide; his father-in-law Bob Johnson; and his siblings-in-law, Brenda Johnson and Eric Johnson. He was also cherished by other children—that he had a daughter.
