He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Doerr and Mary Doerr; and his brother Ken Doerr (Linda Doerr). He is survived by: his spouse Linda Doerr; his children, Adam, Kevin and Rachael; and his grandchildren, Katelyn, Cassidy, Amelia and Simon.

A memorial service with be held at The First Baptist Church, 416 Main Street, New London at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, Aug. 18th with a half hour visitation prior to the service.
