She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Clayton Whitney and Alice Gould Whitney; her husband Paul E. Phillips of Concord, NH; her daughter Amy W. Phillips; her sister Constance Geis; her daughters, Laura (Brian Stevens), Carrie Phillips (Steven Lilburn) and Sarah Phillips (Mark Fletcher); her grandchildren, Nicholas Stevens (Danielle) of South Carolina, Joseph Stevens of Massachusetts, Jack of Massachusetts, Eli of Massachusetts and Grace Lilburn of Massachusetts; her great grandchild Isabella Grace Stevens; and her brother Winston Whitney. She was also cherished by several brothers and sisters-in-law, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
Despite her struggle with Parkinson's disease, Phyllis enjoyed the outings, arts and crafts classes, knitting circle and sports.
