She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Burke (Jacqueline Burke) and Jacqueline Burke. She is survived by: her husband Allen Welch; her daughters, Jennifer Taaffe (Alex Taaffe), Stefanie Welch (Trent Hunt) and Molly Welch (Samuel Cody); her grandchildren, Grace Taaffe and Samuel Taaffe; and her brothers, Thomas Burke (Donna Burke), Patrick Burke and Joseph Burke (Janet Burke).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association and the Special Olympics, causes close to Mary's heart.
