He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph B. Nye Jr. and Mildred Nye (Slack); and his significant other Libby. He is survived by: his children, Brenda Nye-Power, Susan Nye and John Nye; his children-in-law, Bill and Jennifer; his grandchildren, Gillian, Patrick, Daniel, Michaela, Emily and Charlotte; his grandsons-in-law, Nathan and Travis; his stepgrandson Luke; his granddaughter-in-law Kristin; his great grandchildren, Lupin and Trill; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Haven, Dorian and Lennox; his nephew Walter Dillingham; and his friend Kathleen Dunbar. He is also survived by his family and the many friends.
