He was predeceased by: his father Edwin Hollinger; and his brother Michael. He is survived by: his mother Pauline Hollinger of New London, NH; and his siblings, Jeff Hollinger (Cristina) of Dover, NH, Fred Hollinger (Pam) of Thayne, WY, Betsy Schulz (Dave) of Wisconsin Dells, WI, Roberta Aufranc (Dennis) of New London, NH, Diane Cook (Richard), Mary Craigie (Alan) of Newbury, NH, Susan Callaghan (Paul) of Rochester, NH, Christine Hollinger of Raleigh, NC and Paul Hollinger (Lara) of Morgan Hill, CA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
