With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bruce Floyd Avery of New London, New Hampshire, born in Woodstock, New Hampshire, who passed away on July 31, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Floyd Avery and Alberta Avery (Gilman); his wife Shirley Sanderson Avery of New London; his children, Leslie Pferchy (Ron) of New London and Steven Avery (Jean) of North Grafton, MA; his grandchildren, Nicholas Avery of Boston, MA, Alexandra Avery of North Grafton, MA, Matthew Pferchy of North Potomac, MD and Nicole Ratliff (Greg) of Leland, NC; his great grandchild Tyler Ratliff of Leland, NC; his sisters, Carol Avery Haber of New York City and Barbara Avery of Woodstock, NH; and his sister-in-law Cheryl Robinson Sanderson of Concord, NH. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions in Bruce's name be made to The Episcopal Church of St. Andrew in New London, NH or to the New London Hospital.
