We are sad to announce that on March 1, 2023 we had to say goodbye to James L. Smith of New Ipswich, New Hampshire, born in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank L. Smith and Velma Smith (Fagan); and his wife Penny Marie Smith (Mailloux). He is survived by: his daughters, Meghan Benoit (Pat) of New Ipswich, NH and Susan Zutautas (Michael) of Gardner; his brother Frank L. Smith Jr. (Ellen) of Townsend; his grandchildren, Deven Philbrick (Caroline), Venessa Pridgen, Julia Pridgen and Dean Benoit; and his great grandchildren, Drake, Lucas and Milo.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the DAV foundation (Disabled American veterans).
