He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilho Salo and Signe Salo (Matta); his granddaughter Courtney Ronzio; and his siblings, Ethel Appicelli, June Hammond, Fayeth LaFreniere, Stanley Salo, Sanford Salo, James Salo, Floyd Salo and Brian Salo.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Salo (Somero) of New Ipswich; his children, Wanda, Calvin Aho of Vancouver, Russell Salo (Melissa) of New Ipswich, Kenyon Salo (Carmela) of Rindge, Avalee Salo of Jaffrey, Reade Salo (Alicia) of New Ipswich, Bethany, Michael Sauvola of New Ipswich, Bryce Salo (Kaitlyn) of New Ipswich, Kaylee, Jonathon Tirado of Swanzey, Garrett and Emily Salo of Boston, MA; and his siblings, Evelyn Korpi of Florida, Elaine Valitalo of Florida, Alvin Salo of Florida, Robert Salo of Florida, Harold Salo of Kenosha and Will Salo of Duluth. He is also survived by 16 grandsons, 15 granddaughters, 12 great grandchildren.
