He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward J. Barton Sr. and Constance A. Barton (Grandy); his wife Pamela Barton (Jenkins); and his close friend Sandy Chick. He is survived by: his children, Brenda (Barton), Edward J. Barton III (Amanda Sargent) of New Castle and Scott Barton (Ellen Barton) of Dover; his grandchildren, Eddie Barton (Dani) of Dover, Zachary Baker of Milton, Arianna Baker of Wyoming, Garrett Barton of Dover and Amelia Barton of Newmarket; and his great grandchildren, Ivo Millar and Abraham Barton of Dover.
