She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Rich and Margaret Whyte Rich; her grandson Clifford Nyquist; her daughter Amie Williams Nixon; her sister Barbara Chase (Freeman Chase); her nephews, Clark Chase and Scott Whitelaw; and her brother-in-law Scotty Whitelaw.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Cecily Danver; her husband David Lee Nixon; her pet Chance; her children, Leslie Nixon (Lee Nyquist), Melanie Nixon, Wendy Branch (BJ), Dave Nixon Jr. (Karen Swanson) and Louis Nixon III (Trudy); her grandchildren, Christina Nyquist (Michael Wolfe), Carla Nyquist, Linnea Nyquist, Lincoln Nyquist, Jeremy Nixon and Keira Nixon; her great grandchild Eva; and her sister Shirley Whitelaw. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
