In Loving Memory of Vincent James Signore Jr.
Vincent James Signore Jr., a dedicated patriot and respected member of the Nashua, New Hampshire community, passed away at the age of 78 on September 5th, 2023. Born in Newton, Massachusetts, Vincent was the beloved son of Vincent James Sr. and Alba Signore (Rossi).
Vincent proudly served his country during the Vietnam War as a member of the United States Navy. He dedicated four years of his life to the service of his nation aboard the USS Mount McKinley. His unwavering commitment and sacrifice for the cause of freedom earned him an honorable discharge in June of 1966.
Following his military service, Vincent embarked on a successful career as a licensed optician and eventually became a prosperous business owner in the field. His dedication to his profession was emblematic of his strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
Vincent is survived by his loving sons, Vincent James Signore III, and his wife Amy Signore, followed by the youngest son, Christopher Signore. He is also remembered by Janice Signore, the mother of his children. Additionally, Vincent leaves behind cherished siblings, Ann Marie Hickey, Delores Signore, and Maurita Mitchell.
Vincent's final resting place will be the New Hampshire State Veteran Cemetery in Boscawen, NH, where he will receive full military honors in recognition of his service and sacrifice to our nation. In accordance with the family's wishes, all services will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Vincent's name to DAV – Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301, to support the brave men and women who have served in our armed forces.
Vincent James Signore Jr. will be remembered for his dedication to family, his service to his country, and his commitment to his profession. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. May he rest in eternal peace.
