He was predeceased by: his wife Edna Tarris (Stapleton). He is survived by: his children, Christine Tarris of Nashua, NH, Jeanne Horgan (Stephen) of Walpole, Leo Tarris of Hull, Richard Tarris Jr. (Christine) of Roslindale and Julie Elmendorf (Kevin); and his siblings, Barbara Baker of Needham and Stephen Tarris of Lowell. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Due to the current coronavirus pandemic, a private family visitation and funeral service will be held at P. E. Murray - F. J. Higgins, George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home.
