He was predeceased by: his father Ervin Voltz; and his brothers, Ervin, Arthur and Raymond Voltz. He is survived by: his wife Chiyoko (Kawaguchi); his children, Richard Voltz Jr. (Betty) of Tennessee and Mary Voltz of Nashua; his grandsons, Richard Voltz III (Ashley) and Zachary Voltz; his great grandchildren, Zoe and Max; and his siblings, Jim Voltz, Willie Mae Morgan, Bernice Ezell, James Voltz and Theresa Simmons. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
