He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond R. Belanger and Florence Belanger (Higgens); his son Bruce Belanger; his son-in-law Roland Holbrook; and his brothers, Maurice Belanger and Robert Belanger.
He is survived by: his spouse Marion Lorraine Belanger (Lessard); his children, Norman R. Belanger Jr. (Kirsis Abreu) of Cape Coral, Brendalee Holbrook of Nashua and Rhonda Lilley (Frederick Jr) of Searsmont, ME.; his grandchildren, Allysa Ames, Frederick Lilley III, Crystal Boynton, Michael J. Belanger and Robert Holbrook; his great grandchildren, Austin Ames and Brayden Roberts; and his sister Annette Murray. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
