He is survived by: his wife Joan Vana Shalek; his children, Leah Shalek of Karmiel, Israel, Paul Shalek (Lisa) of Danville, Gary Shalek of Nashua and Peter Shalek (Donna) of Chelmsford, MA; his grandchildren, Benjamin Shalek, Zacharia Shalek, Tirzah Shalek, Nicole Shalek, Russell Shalek, Charles Shalek, Alizsa Shalek, Allison Shalek, Riley Shalek and Dillon Shalek; and his siblings, David Shalek of Vergennes, VT, Jules Shalek (Robin) of Vergennes, VT and Lois Graber of Chestnut Hill, MA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews; and countless friends and honorary family members.
