She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ruth U Bates (Newton) and Arthur B Bates; her former husband William D Carlson; her husband Verlin Dean Reed; her brother Dale Bates (Mary Ann) of Liberty Hill, TX; her children, Christine Carlson (Patricia Gillenwater) of Dewey, AZ, Karen C Holcomb Creely, Arthur Carlson (Jeannette Rubner), Munich Germany and Barbara Beelle (Lisa) of Concord, NH.; her granddaughter Heather Whitcomb (Seth); her great grandchildren, Ethan and Dylan; her grandson Jeffrey Holcomb (Stefanie Gazda); her great grandchild Audrey; and her grandchildren, Lorenz Rubner, Claire, Louise and Felix Carlson.
