In the sacred silence of farewell, Karen Marie is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Karen Marie's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Eugene Francis and Lorraine Makara (Lefebvre); her son Eric (Rachelle Makara); her granddaughter Margo of Highlands Ranch, CO; and her brothers, Leland Makara of Hudson, NH, Eugene Makara of West Virginia, Edward (Heather Makara) of Chelmsford, MA, Michael (Candice) of North Carolina and David Makara. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Dolan Funeral Home (106 Middlesex St, North Chelmsford, MA 01863). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
