He was predeceased by: his parents, Sardar Narinder Singh Mangat and Sardarni Jasmer Kaur Mangat (Dhanoa); and his sister Sumeet Kaur "Meeta" Mangat. He is survived by: his spouse Mandeep Kaur "Mickey" (Khatra); his children, Tanvir Singh Mangat of Hudson and Jasmine Kaur Mangat of Hudson; and his siblings, Pradeep Kaur "Bavi" Bains, Sarabjeet Singh "Shami" Mangat and Milipreet Kaur "Bittu" Mangat Chahal. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
