He is survived by: his brothers, Dick (Cecile) of Concord and Karl (Silvana) of Concord; his former wife Helga Jahn; his son Herb Wester, Jr. (Cathy) of New London; and his grandchildren, George of Mt. Union, Leonard of Evanston, Emmett (Paige) of Greensboro and Mary of St. Petersburg, Florida..

Herbert Carl Wester, 85, died on December 22, 2021 at the New London Specialty Care Center after a lengthy struggle with Alzheimer's Dementia.
