He was predeceased by: his parents, Theresa For (Valliancourt) and Harold Earl Dow Jr. For; his son George Dow; and his brother-in-law David Bolan. He is survived by: his son Scott Dow of Hudson; his grandchildren, George Jr. and Hayden; his sister Marie Bolan of Key West; and his former wife Dawn Dow of Hudson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
