It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Bakunas (Nashua, New Hampshire), born in Lowell, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 1, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Hutchinson and Marjorie Hutchinson (Johnston). She is survived by: her children, Raymond Bakunas of Pepperell, MA and Christine Mackensen (Chris) of Temple, N. H.; her grandchildren, Adeline, Chloe, Gary and Rosalie; and her sister Claire Michelinie (Don) of Orange, VA. She is also survived by Her neighbors always knew their beloved pets.

No one could have been more thoughtful or loving to our family. She was genuine, kind, full of laughter, and fostered a deep love for her family and friends. My boys will never forget her and my husband and I owe a debt of gratitude for all the ways she cared for us! Our prayers are with her family. May God bless and comfort you.”

“For the past two years, I have had the pleasure of being Gloria’s mail carrier. I will miss her wit and charm as well as always reminding me that the neighbors dogs won’t bite me. They just bark a lot. I’ll also miss seeing her at the gas station every morning and beeping as I drive by to start my route with her smiling face and a wave. My heart goes out to the family and friends.”
