He was predeceased by: his father Kenneth Dion. He is survived by: his mother Suzanne Hildreth; his children, Tasha Dion, Felisha Dion, Eric Dion Jr. and Miranda Dion; and his siblings, Kenneth Dion Jr., Tina Martin and Todd Dion. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
