She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Garant and Flora Garant (Salvail); her daughter Lynette; her siblings, Normand, Ernest, Sally, Elaine, Lucille and Beatrice; and her sisters-in-law, Terry Sullivan and Fran Gale.
She is survived by: her daughter Cindy Watts-Cadorette; her stepdaughter Susan M. Hazlett; and her grandchildren, Nicole Cadorette, Michael Cadorette, Holly Smith, Mychael Smith and Jamie Smith. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anita's name to the Alzheimer's Association to find a cure for dementia and Alzheimer's, 322 8th Avenue, 16th Floor, New York, NY, 10001 or to the Funeral Home to defer funeral costs.
