She was predeceased by: her spouse Kunhiraman Nair; and her son-in-law Rajagopal Nayanar. She is survived by: her daughters, Usha Nambiar, Malathi Nambiar and Shobha Menon; her sons-in-law, Madhavan Nambiar and Bala Menon; her grandchildren, Sunitha Bhaskar, Rekha Paul, Jyothi Das, Arjun Menon, Manoj Nambiar, Aravind Menon and Ambika Menon; and her great grandchildren, Nithya, Divya, Sandhya, Jin, Jeeth, Siddarth, Shreya, Mark and Sonia.
