He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Els Warendorf Hulm; his brother Frederick Hulm; his parents, Frederick Hulm and Mary Walker Robertson Hulm; his daughters, Nancy Jones (Marty Nowland) of Wolfeboro, NH, Leslie McCormack (Patrick) of Cape Neddick, ME and Joyce Hulm of Amesbury, MA.; and his grandchildren, Emma, Rebecca Jones, Alexandra, Christopher, Laura and Kieran McCormack. He was also cherished by 8 nieces and nephews.
