He was predeceased by: his brothers, Erwin Ellis, Kenny Ellis and Charles Ellis. He is survived by: his parents, Lloyd F. and Eleanor Ellis (Londo); his wife Thelma L. Ellis (Collins); his children, Dolores E. Woodill, Marie J. Hersey, Pauline L. Collins, Russell E. Ellis Jr., James R. Ellis, David A. Ellis, Brian M. Ellis, Leon L. Ellis and Lloyd Ellis; and his siblings, Evodia Harriman and Roger Ellis. He is also survived by many grandchildren, several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
