He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Sr. and Hilda Thyng (Barnard); his brothers, Roger Thyng, Herbert Thyng Jr and Raymond Roy Sr; and also Andrew Lafountain.
He is survived by: his wife Irene (Roy) of Milton; his sons, Jayson R. Thyng (Tricia) of Fremont, N. H. and Jayme Thyng of Milton; his grandchildren, Kaylee Thyng and Jared Thyng; and his sisters, Donna Lavoie (Thomas) of Raymond, MS, Beverly Robins of Fountain, FL and Jo Alyce Martell (Andrew) of Port Charlotte, FL.
