He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Stanley D. Banks Sr. and Florence Josephine Banks (Stokes); and his siblings, Stanley Jr., Elizabeth "Betty" Gallup (Banks) and Julia Bryce (Banks).
He is survived by: his wife Loretta Marie Mellozzo; his children, Anne-Marie Ballam (Ed) of Haverhill Corner, NH, Stanley D. Banks III (Deborah) of Milton Mills, NH and Alfred C. Banks Jr. (Lenda) of Milton Mills, NH.; and his grandchildren, Shawnicee Gatton (Greg) of Alton, NH, Kyle Banks of Milton Mills, NH, Jonathan Ballam of Haverhill Corner, NH, Alicia Ballam of Woodsville, NH, Arianna Mallock (Joshua) of Milton Mills, NH and Anthony Banks of Milton Mills, NH. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
