Though Gordon Albert may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gordon Albert touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Armstrong and Lilly Armstrong (Holden); and his son Clifford Patten. He is survived by: his wife Sue D. E. Armstrong (Mills) of Middleburg, FL; his children, Sarah Stermer (Chris) of Hudson, FL, Bill Patten of Groveton, NH and Terri A. Charron; and his cousin Alice Cummings (Paul). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home (100 State St, Groveton, NH 03582). A prayer will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Church (11 State St, Northumberland, NH 03582). The military honors will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 11:45 AM at the Northumberland Cemetery (334 Lancaster Rd, Northumberland, NH 03582).
