He is survived by: his parent Agnes Shields (McElroy); his sons, Thomas Shields Jr of Worcester, MA and Wayne Shields (Christine) of Weare, NH; his granddaughter Olivia Shields; his significant other Bonnie Sonia of Merrimack; his sister Catherine Ivers (James) of Bay Shores, L. I.; his great-niece Tom; his stepchildren, Nicole, John and David Duhamel; and his stepgranddaughter Kayla Duhamel. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
