He was predeceased by: his parents, Eleanor (Bailey) and Leon S. Wells, Sr.; and his brother Dennis Wells. He is survived by: his wife Laurie Wells (Brooks); his daughters, Sherie Wells and Katy Tewksbury; his grandchildren, Paige Wells, Chase Wenzel, Tripp Wenzel, Tuesday Wenzel, Ford Wenzel, Ari Wenzel and Camryn Beckwith; and his sisters, Judith Mabey, Joan Lorenz and Anita Cote. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
