He was predeceased by: his parents, August Segien and Vera Segien (Anderson); and his brother Arthur Segien. He is survived by: his wife Anna Segien (Carimando) of Merrimack; his children, Anthony "Tony" Segien (Lori) of Weare, NH, Joseph K. Segien, Jr. (Maralyn) of New Boston, NH and Maria Giroux (Christopher) of Merrimack; his grandchildren, Zackery Joyce, Christopher, Matthew Giroux, Kathleen, Isaac, Noah and Nicholas Segien; and his siblings, Ben Segien and Vera Rapuano.
