We bid farewell to Jack Zenas Higgins of Merrimack, New Hampshire, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 22, 2025 at the age of 87. Jack touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elliott J. Higgins Jr. and Beatrice M. Higgins (Tabbutt); his wife Lorraine Higgins (Ayotte) of Lowell, MA.; his son Erik Higgins; and his siblings, Warren William Higgins, Nancy Harrington, Rosanne Stapleford, Elliott Higgins (Frances), William Ellis (Carol), Arthur Ellis, Florence Estabrook (Timothy) and Laurie Allen (Mark).
He is survived by: his son Jason Higgins (Dori) of Merrimack; his grandson Brady; his daughter-in-law Samantha Higgins; his grandchildren, Ryan, Daniel and Valerie; his son Jack Higgins Jr.; his grandson Joshua; and also, Nicole of Merrimack, Jackson and Ariya.
The military honors will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Nh Veterans Cemetery (110 Daniel Webster Hwy, Boscawen, NH 03303).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Fisher House Foundation or the Wounded Warrior Project.
