He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy; his son James; and his grandson Christos. He is survived by: his children, Suzan (Nick Theodorou) of Hanover, MA, Christine (Robert Swick), Michael (Michele Hennas) of Amherst and Sue Hennas (late James); his grandchildren, Jenny, George, Nancy, Alie, Kaity, Amy, Sydney, Mackenzie, Nathan, Taylor and Trace; and his siblings, Andrew, Jackie Hennas of Buffalo, NY, Herb and Carina Hennas of Sleepy Hollow, NY.. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
